Dead Man's Cribbage is obviously based on Cribbage. If you aren't familiar with Cribbage, then do not worry. It's arguably easier than chess.
A key feature is that players are constantly sharing their hand of cards with that their opponent.
Often one must "give" points to the opponent in order to "get" more points. More coupling occurs since all players all share the mystery "cut" card.
Traditional Cribbage is simply a race to 121 points, and the positioning of the opponents do not matter. The board is just a score keeping device.
